The Union x Air Jordan 4 “Guava Ice” emerges as one of the most sought-after collaborations from Jordan Brand in the summer of 2020. Los Angeles-based streetwear, fashion, and lifestyle boutique Union renewed its partnership with Jordan Brand, following the groundbreaking Air Jordan 1 collaboration in 2018, to produce two unique Jordan 4 colorways with a distinct new construction.

Starting with the “Guava Ice” color scheme, the upper showcases vintage-inspired yellow netting on the mid-panel and tongue. A sand-colored brushed suede base is featured on the mudguard, toe cap, and eyelets. White and red engineered mesh detailing graces the toe and collar, adding a touch of sophistication. Pink plastic lace accenting clips and a translucent lace support clip contribute to the shoe’s eccentric vibe. The classic touch of a blue plastic heel clip with contrasting red “Nike Air” enhances the overall contemporary aesthetic.

Notably, a shortened tongue, following Union owner Chris Gibbs’ specifications, is folded over and stitched down. Wearers have the option to remove the stitching, allowing them to achieve a more traditional Air Jordan 4 look.
